The NHL is again! The Stanley Cup Qualifiers will begin on Saturday with 5 video games on the slate. With the brand new playoff format for this season, we may see as many as 52 video games over a nine-day stretch from now till August ninth. “There’s a chance that this is as good of hockey as I’ve ever seen,” stated Paul Maurice, coach of the Winnipeg Jets.

The playoffs will happen in two hub cities, Toronto and Edmonton, with the Eastern Conference groups taking part in in Toronto and the Western Conference groups taking part in in Edmonton.
